We have a variety of meetings and study groups to fit your interests and schedule:

Day Group

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month, September – May, 10 am – 2 pm

Blooming Grove Reformed Church, Bloomingrove Drive, Defreestville, NY


From the West (Albany, Delmar, Schenectady, etc), take I-90 East to Exit 8, Route 43, Defreestville (second exit after crossing the Hudson River). Follow the very long exit ramp to the first light (Washington Avenue) and turn right. The road comes to a “T” with a stop sign; turn right onto Bloomingrove Road. The church will be on your right with parking in the back.

From all other areas where you do not need to use I-90, go to Routes 4 and 43 (a very large intersection). Turn onto Route 43 West (the entrance ramp to I-90). Go to the first light (Washington Avenue) and turn left. Proceed as above. At Blooming Grove Reformed Church, come in the door at the end of the porch; our meeting room will be on your left. Coffee and tea are provided. Bring a lunch and enjoy the camaraderie, the learning and the stitching.

Beverwyck Evening Group

Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, 7 – 9 pm

Community Room, Terrace at Beverwyck Community Center, 41 Beverwyck Lane, Slingerlands, NY


Turn onto Beverwyck Lane, off Krumkill Road (at the bounding deer sign), then take your second right. The community room will be directly in front of you with parking on your left.

North End Evening Group

Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, September – May, 6:30 – 9 pm

St. George’s Episcopal Church, 912 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY


Take I-87 (Northway) to Exit 9. Drive for approximately 1.5 miles on Route 146W. St. George’s is a large white church on the left, set back from the road. Meetings are held in the Parish Hall which is in the building on the left as you face the church.

Study Groups

Study Groups provide an opportunity to explore a particular type of stitching. Studio Time is unstructured time for stitching and socializing. Schedules, contact info and other details can be found in the newsletter.
